5 Members Of Family Killed After Car Hits Truck On Highway In Gujarat' Vadodara

New Delhi: In a tragic incident near Vadodara city in Gujarat, five people of a family including a toddler lost their lives when their car collided with a stationary container on a highway.

Notably, Police and a fire rescue team rushed to the spot and pulled out the victims from the mangled car, PTI quoted official as saying.

UP: 1 Killed, 3 Missing After Car Plunges Into Canal In Bulandshahr
In a tragic incident, one person lost their life while two sustained serious injuries and three individuals went missing after a car carrying eight passengers plunged into a canal in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr, within the jurisdiction of the Jahangirpur police station, during the early hours of Monday. As per Bulandshahr District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh, five occupants were rescued from the submerged vehicle. Regrettably, one child among them succumbed to the mishap, while the two injured passengers are receiving medical treatment. Efforts are ongoing to locate the missing individuals, with a search operation currently underway, as reported by ANI.

Notably, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the incident and has announced an ex gratia of Rupees 4 lakh to the kin of the dead, the DM added, as per ANI.
