Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Tuesday (December 22) married choreographer and YouTuber Dhanashree Verma in Gurugram. The couple tied knot in a private Hindu ceremony at the Karma Lake resort today. While the dancer Dhanashree decked up in a maroon lehenga, cricketer Yuzvendra donned an ivory sherwani with a maroon turban. Posting some beautiful pictures from the wedding on Instagram, the leg-spinner wrote: "22.12.20. We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz' finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!".

Soon, people from the cricket fraternity started pouring in congratulatory wishes for the couple. Royal Challengers Bangalore were one of the firsts to congratulate the Indian cricketer on his special day. '

Former India Cricketer Wasim Jaffer in a Twitter post said "No matter how many matches you go to, she'll be the match you'll always come back to. Congratulations @yuzi_chahal and Dhanashree :)"

Indian cricket team's star wrist-spinner, Chahal had announced his engagement with YouTube personality Dhanashree Verma earlier this year in August through a Twitter post.
