PM Narendra Modi could visit the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad to watch the Rohit Sharma-led Indian side in the final match on November 19. India will take on either South Africa or Australia in the final game.

Ahead of the final match at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, a spectacular aerobatic display is set to grace the skies courtesy of the Surya Kiran team from the Indian Air Force on November 19. Following their triumphant victory against New Zealand, this marks India's fourth appearance in an ODI World Cup final, having previously clinched the trophy in 1983 and 2011.

Adding to the grandeur of the final ceremony, global pop sensation Dua Lipa is scheduled to deliver a performance, as announced by Star Sports in a post on X.

While the BCCI and ICC opted not to organize an opening ceremony at the onset of the World Cup, a musical extravaganza took place before India's intense encounter with arch-rivals Pakistan on October 14. Arijit Singh captivated the audience at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium ahead of the match, which India ultimately won by 7 wickets. The musical lineup also featured the enchanting performances of Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sukhwinder Singh.

Thirteen years since their last World Cup final appearance in 2011, where they clinched the trophy, India secured a historic win against New Zealand in the semifinals with a commanding 70-run lead on Wednesday. The upcoming title clash will see India facing the winner of the second semi-final between Australia and South Africa.

The architects of India's monumental victory were Virat Kohli, who marked his 50th century, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 centuries, Shreyas Iyer with a remarkable 105, and Mohammed Shami, whose stellar seven-wicket performance saw the Kiwis bowled out for 327 in 48.5 overs.

Rohit Sharma and Shubhman Gill provided India with a blazing start, while Kohli and Iyer maintained the momentum on a sluggish track, resulting in a formidable total of 397 for four. Battling cramps and the humid weather of Mumbai, Kohli also broke Tendulkar's record for the most runs in an ODI World Cup, notching up a sublime 117.

Despite a valiant effort from New Zealand, led by Daryl Mitchell's impressive 134 off 119 balls and skipper Kane Williamson's 69, they eventually folded up for 327. Australia and South Africa are fighting a tense battle at Kolkata's Eden Gardens for a place in the final.
