Spinner Maya Sonawane Gets Twitterati Talking With Her Bizarre Bowling Action - WATCH

Maya Sonawane is an uncapped right-arm leg spinner from Maharashtra. She made her Women's T20 league debut for Velocity and has become the eighth Indian uncapped player to be a part of the tournament.

New Delhi: The first season of the Women's T20 Challenge is underway at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Meanwhile, 23-year-old leg-spinner Maya Sonawane's bizarre bowling action has set Twitter on fire. Sonawane's strange bowling action during the second match of the tournament between Velocity and Supernova is going viral on social media.

While some fans compared her strange bowling to former South African bowler Paul Adams, others suggested that the young spinner reminded them of Shivil Kaushik's unique action. Shivil Kaushik has played for Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
