Team India's skipper Virat Kohli, like many other cricketers, took to social media to wish his deputy Rohit Sharma on his 33rd birthday on Thursday. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli currently rule the cricketing world and the duo have been India's batting mainstay in white-ball cricket. "Happy B'day Rohit @ImRo45. The ‘rift stories’ between Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma after India's exit from the 2019 World Cup disappointed most of the fans. In a presser, reaction to the rumours, skipper Virat Kohli had rubbished all talks before leaving for the Caribbean tour but the speculations aren’t ending yet. "In my opinion it's baffling to be honest. It's absolutely ridiculous to read such stuff that comes out. I have been to a few public events and the sentiment is 'aap log kya khele (you guys played so well)'," Kohli said. "We are feeding off lies. We are overlooking facts. We are turning a blind eye to all the good things that has happened. We are creating fantasies and scenarios in our head and want to accept that this is the truth," the Indian captain added.
