Matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League was an interesting one. In a shocking result, Dortmund lost 3-1 to Sporting CP and have crashed out of the UCL 2021-22.
Liverpool, Ajax, Bayern Munich and Juventus had already qualified for the Round of 16 on Matchday 4. Favourable results for Manchester United and Chelsea on Thursday meant that both the English teams go through to the next round of the competition.
Manchester City and PSG have both gone through despite City defeating Paris by 2-1 at Etihad. It was a crackerjack of a game and no team led till the 50th minute when Mbappe scored the first goal for PSG. Sterling and Jesus scored for City in 63rd and 76th minute, respectively.
