Sports Fraternity Extends Support To Flood Victims Amidst Cyclone 'Michuang' In Chennai

Sports fraternity took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend support, express their concern for the flood victims affected by Cyclone Michuang in Chennai.

Chennai has experienced substantial rainfall as a result of Cyclone 'Michaung,' leading to widespread waterlogging in numerous areas. The heavy downpour in Chennai has resulted in challenging conditions for residents and has prompted concerns about flooding and related issues in the affected areas.

Sports fraternity took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend support, express their concern for the flood victims affected by Cyclone Michuang in Chennai. Athletes, including cricketers and Indian football clubs, took to X to convey their prayers for the victims during the challenging times.

"Chennai folks, please prioritize your safety and stay indoors – it’s crucial during times like these. A big salute to all the officials working tirelessly to improve the situation. Let’s all cooperate and get through this together", Dinesh Karthik posted.

Indian Super League (ISL) official page took a proactive step by sharing contact details of relief centers and helpline numbers. This initiative is aimed to facilitate assistance for individuals stranded in the flooded areas due to Cyclone Michuang.
