Shaheen Shah Afridi Marries Shahid Afridi's Daughter Ansha In Karachi. See Pics

Pakistani cricketer Shaheen Shah Afridi gets married to the daughter of former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi in Karachi.

Pakistan cricket team's star pacer Shaheen Afridi married Shahid Afridi's daughter Ansha on Friday in a grand wedding at a local Karachi mosque, GeoNews reported. A reception took place soon after the Nikah which was attended by many star cricketers like Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan. Shaheen and Ansha got engaged two years ago.

 In an exclusive interview on Geo News' show "Aik Din Geo Kai Sath", Shaheen had revealed that it was his wish to marry Afridi’s daughter.

"It was my wish and Alhamdulillah [thanks to Allah Almighty] it is fulfilled now," Shaheen had confessed during the interview.

On being asked whether Ansha felt jealous about Shaheen's female fans, he said: "I am not sure, maybe she feels something like that.”

Shaheen will return to action in the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), set to begin on February 13. Shaheen-led Lahore Qalandars will lock horns with Multan Sultans in the first match of the tournament. In the previous edition of PSL, Shaheen played an important role with both ball and bat as he led Lahore Qalandars to their first-time PSL title.
