Three  batsmen will be picked from each team to bat with the specially crafted bats. According to reports, for India it will be Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya rahane and R Ashwin to use the new piece of innovation The aim is to both provide more information to television audiences and, longer term, develop a coaching aid.
