PCB chief selector praises Indian skipper Virat Kohli

Lahore (Punjab) [Pakistan], May 06 (ANI): Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) chief selector Wasim Bari on Sunday praised Indian skipper Virat Kohli for the latter's proactive approach.

While lamenting at Pakistani side's inexperience which, according to him, may leave them handicapped against the English side in their home conditions, Bari appreciated Kohli's decision of playing county cricket ahead of India's Test series later this year in England.

"Indian captain Virat Kohli has been smart as he's decided to play for Surrey in June to get acclimatized ahead of his team's tour in the second part of the season," The Dawn quoted Bari as saying.

Wasim Bari said their touring side could face problems due to lack of experience and also pointed out that the Test series being a short one (only two tests) may not give enough time to Pakistani players to acclimatise to the conditions.

The Indian skipper was signed by the Surrey County cricket team this month. He will be playing three county championship matches in June. (ANI)
