Maheshwari Chauhan & Anant Jeet Singh Lose In Bronze Medal Match Against China At Paris Olympics 2024
Indian shooters Maheshwari Chauhan and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka missed out on a bronze medal in the skeet mixed team event at the Paris Olympics 2024 on August 5.
Indian shooters Maheshwari Chauhan and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka lost the bronze medal match 43-44 to Jiang Yiting/Lyu Jianlin of China in the skeet mixed team event at the Paris Olympics 2024 on August 5 (Monday).
Earlier today, Maheshwari and Anant Jeet posted a total score of 146 in the qualification round. After the first stage, they were tied for second place with a score of 49, alongside Australia, Korea, France and two Italian teams. Naruka achieved a perfect 25/25 in the first round, while Chauhan scored 24/25, bringing their total to 49.
In the second round, Chauhan shot a flawless 25, but Naruka missed two shots each in the 2nd and 5th series, scoring 23 and resulting in a total of 48 for that round.
In the third round, India scored 49, with Chauhan contributing 25 and Naruka adding 24 take the combined total to 146 after three rounds.
