Grudges, Anger, Negativity…: Virat Kohli Shares Cryptic Instagram Story Featuring Kevin Hart
Kohli was involved in a brawl after Lucknow Super Giants' home match against RCB earlier this month.
Virat Kohli, the star India batter, who is currently plying his trade for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2023, posted a cryptic video on his Instagram story on Wednesday (May 10) which features American stand up comedian Kevin Hart. Notably, Kohli was involved in a brawl after Lucknow Super Giants' home match against RCB earlier this month. An intense war of words had broken out between ex-RCB captain Kohli and LSG's team mentor Gautam Gambhir after some exchange earlier in the match between Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq.
And now Kohli's latest Instagram post talks about staying away from negativity. "No matter how much emotions and feeling that you have, or how much hurt you have, the life has to go on. Life doesn’t stop for anybody. So if you don’t process that, and understand you’re stuck in whatever time period it is, you are hurt forever. Grudges, anger, negativity… I don’t have time for it. Because I’m living so many positive things. I can’t stand in the past, and bathe in what was wrong," Hart says in the clip.
After the on-field tussle, there has been a bit of a tension betewen the players on social media. After Kohli got out cheaply in the match against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday (May 9), the Naveen, shared a picture of himself enjoying mangoes and wrote "Sweet mangoes."
Talking about RCB, the team was in with a chance to launch themselves into the Top 4 in the league table at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday and even managed to post 199 batting first.
However, that seemed to insufficient as a powerful MI batting order chased down that total with 21 balls to spare. Suryakumar Yadav played a superb knock, scoring 83 off 35 balls while Nehal Wadhera (52* off 34) and Ishan Kishan (42 off 21) also made useful contributions as MI jumped from the eighth place to the third position on the table with 12 points from 11 matches.
