Among many other reasons to watch out for this edition of the T20 tournament is the fact that it will mark a cricketing comeback of sorts for Virat Kohli who will step on to the field after being away from it due to personal reasons for the five-match Test series against England.

Kohli and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans won't have to wait for long though as the star batter will be in action in IPL 2024 match number 1 in which the five-time IPL champions as well as the reigning title holders Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take on Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
