SRH Fast Bowler T Natarajan Ruled Out Of IPL 2021, Big Set-back For Hyderabad

The fast bowler had suffered a knee injury in Australia. He had recovered from it, but after playing just two matches, he is out of the remaining season of this year’s IPL.

IPL 2021: Sunrisers Hyderabad fast-bowler, T Natarajan has been ruled out of the entire Indian Premier League, this season. It’s being reported that Natarajan’s knee injury which he had picked during India’s tour of Australia has resurfaced again. Sunrisers Hyderabad has not thought of a replacement, as of Thursday.

The bowler who played only two matches so far has been replaced by Khaleel Ahmed in the team. SRH has lost three and won 1 out of their 4 matches so far. After registering a win against Punjab Kings, SRH captain David Warner said that Natarajan would require scans on his knee and then would join the team after 7-day quarantine.

But that’s changed with the latest revelation about his injury. BCCI had not informed about this knee injury that T Natarajan carried along with him from the tour of Australia. The knee injury was the reason for Natarajan’s absence from the home T20I and ODI series against England.

T Natarajan has been in the limelight quite often; first, for his grand welcome at his hometown, Salem in Tamil Nadu, and then for a THAR SUV that he received as a gift by Anand Mahindra. India defeated Australia in a historic series down under. India was without their captain Virat Kohli and other key bowlers, but team India managed to win the Test series despite many injuries. T Natarajan was welcomed in his home-town after the series, here is the image from his welcome rally in Salem, Tamil Nadu:

And here is his grand gift:

Kumar, Ahmed, Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma, Basil Thampi and all-rounder Jason Holder are the remaining fast-bowling options that SRH has.
