WATCH: Sanju Samson Takes A Superb One-Handed Diving Catch To Dismiss Prithvi Shaw In IPL 2023 RR vs DC Clash

The outswinger to get rid of Shaw was simply amazing as it also witnessed a great piece of athleticism from wicketkeeper Sanju Samson.

It has been a superb game of cricket for the Rajasthan Royals so far. Even though they did not win the toss, they were asked to bat first and made the best use of superb batting conditions at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati to post a solid score of 199. Yashasvi Jaiswal (60 off 31) and Jos Buttler (79 off 51) took the attack to the opposition right from the word go and there was no looking back.

Both openers scored half-centuries and despite a bit of a comeback from Delhi Capitals in the middle, Shimron Hetmyer's (39* off 21) innings in the end ensured RR finished on a high. After that, RR just had the most perfect of all starts as Trent Boult got two wickets in two balls in the very first over, getting Impact Player Prithvi Shaw and DC debutant Manish Pandey out for ducks.

The very next ball, Boult got the wicket of Manish Pandey getting the ball to swing back into the right-hander. While the batter opted to review the decision, replays shows three reds and Pandey had to walk back to the pavilion. DC have a massive challenge ahead of them if they need to chase down this total, having already lost their first two matches of the season. 

On the other hand, Rajasthan would want to win their first game at their adopted home in Guwahati after losing their earlier match at this venue against Punjab Kings.
