Rajasthan Royals started the tournament on a brilliant note and looked a class apart from rest of the other sides, as they looked completely invincible. However, after going on a run of 8 wins in 9 matches, the Sanju Samson-led side have now recorded four consecutive losses and now stand in a must-win situation against KKR to lock their Top 2 place.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have managed to win their fixture against Punjab Kings and it will be interesting to see the response from the RR, as rain is predicted to play the spoiler in the evening's fixture, and if the fixture gets washed out, RR ans SRH will end up on same number of points, but it will be Pat Cummins' side progressing into the Qualifier 1 due to a superior Net Run Rate.

KKR are assured of finishing 1st and will be hoping to carry their momentum into the playoffs, as the Gautam Gambhir-coached side are looking one to watch out for, as they now seem the hottest favourites to win IPL 2024.
