CSK Skipper MS Dhoni Becomes Most Capped Player In The History Of IPL

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 match today, as Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni leads Chennai Super Kings in the cricketing field against Sunrisers Hyderabad team, he attained a major record!

CSK skipper MS Dhoni, who has made his own distinct identity and many records in every format of cricket, on Saturday (October 2) achieved yet another notable milestone as he became the most capped player (194) in the history of the cash rich T20 league.
In his earlier game, MS Dhoni had equaled fellow CSK team mate Suresh Raina's record for 193 appearances in the IPL when he led CSK in Game 7 of the 2020 IPL at Dubai on Friday (September 25).
Looking at Mahendra Singh Dhoni's IPL career, he has scored 4476 runs in 173 innings of 193 matches. During this time, his average was more than 42. Dhoni has scored these runs with a strike rate of over 137. Not only this, Dhoni has also scored 23 half-centuries in these matches. He has so far hit 299 fours and 212 sixes in the T20 tournament.
So far this season, Chennai Super Kings has lost two out of three matches and is currently placed at the bottom of the table. Sunrisers Hyderabad won their last game but even they have had a dismal tournament so far. Hyderabad, ranked seventh in the table, managed to defeat Delhi after losing both their first matches in the IPL. In such a situation, both these teams will want to win this match and improve their position in the IPL 2020 points table.
