Jay Shah Meets UAE's Cultural Minister Ahead Of IPL In UAE, Thanks Him For 'Lasting Friendship'

Shah also thanked Dubai Sports City President, Khalid Al Zarooni. On the occasion, Shah gifted the minister with a cricket bat signed by members of the Indian cricket team. Check out images below.

UAE: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah met UAE's Culture, Youth and Social Development Minister Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan and thanked him for his "lasting friendship and vision". He believed that BCCI and UAE will "overcome trying times and challenges, together". The BCCI secretary met the minister ahead of the resumption of IPL 2021 that is to be played in UAE from 19 September. 

Shah also thanked Dubai Sports City President, Khalid Al Zarooni. On the occasion, Shah gifted the minister with a cricket bat signed by the members of the Indian cricket team. 

Jay Shah shared the images on his social media and wrote: "Taking @IPL’s remarkable journey to the #UAE again! Thank you, H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan & Khalid Al Zarooni for your lasting friendship and vision. We will overcome trying times and challenges, together"

There are 31 remaining matches in the IPL 2021. It will be the first time that the IPL will be held in UAE for two consecutive years. The IPL will be played from September 19 to October 15 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
