The 2023 season of Indian Premier League (IPL) is just a few days away from crowning this year's Orange Cap (highest run-scorer of the season) winner. Let's have a look at top five batters who can win the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Orange Cap in the ongoing edition.

1. Shubman Gill: Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Shubman Gill, the 'prince' of Indian cricket, has outshone many legends in IPL 2023. Gill has so far scored 680 runs at an astounding average of 56.67 with help of two back-to-back centuries. He is currently on 2nd position in IPL 2023 Orange Cap list.

2. Faf du Plessis: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Faf du Plessis, at present, tops the IPL 2023 Orange Cap list with 730 runs in 14 IPL games. Gill is just 50 runs behind Faf and might surpass him as RCB's IPL 2023 campaign ended on Sunday (May 21) following their loss against GT.

3. Ruturaj Gaikwad: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) young opener Ruturaj Gaikwad has so far amassed three fifties in IPL 2023. He has so far scored 504 runs in 14 games and is currently at 8th position in IPL 2023 Orange Cap list.
