Hardik Pandya Joins GT Teammates Rashid Khan, Noor Lakanwal For Sehri, Picture Goes Viral
IPL 2023: Rashid also visited the Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi to offer Fajar prayer.
One of the positives of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been how the players who earlier only used to compete against each other in international cricket, have shared dressing rooms and became friends. Several friendships have bloomed due to the IPL. Players also get to experience each other's cultures during the two-month long tournament and a similar incident happened after Gujarat Titans' comprehensive win over Delhi Capitals on Tuesday.
After the team's second win on the trot to begin the season, star leg-spinner Rashid Khan shared an image of himself along with compatriot and GT teammate Noor Lakanwal who were joined by skipper Hardik Pandya for Sehri.
"SEHRIIII with skipper So nice of you to join us ❤️," Rashid wrote along with the image.

Talking about GT's match against Delhi Capitals, it was Hardik Pandya who won the toss and chose to bowl first. The defending champions restricted Delhi Capitals to 162/8 in their 20 overs with captain David Warner top-scoring for them with 37 off 32 balls. Axar Patel's 33 from 22 balls also came in handy towards the end to help Delhi post a competitive total with Rashid and Mohammed Shami returning with figures of 3 for 31 and 3 for 41 respectively.
However, Delhi's did not turn out to be enough as Gujarat chased it down in 18.1 overs, winning the match by 6 wickets. Sai Sudharsan remained unbeaten on 62 off 48 balls before the finishing touches were provided by David Miller who scored 31 off 16 to wrap up the match early.
Anrich Nortje's (2/39) early strikes had managed to put GT in a spot of bother but they were able to overcome it in style. Vijay Shankar's 29 from 23 balls was also a notable contribution.
