IPL 2021 MI vs SRH LIVE: Mumbai Indians Win By 13 Runs, Sunrisers Lose 3 On Trot

Sunrisers Hyderabad is in all sorts of trouble as they lose three matches in a row. Mumbai Indians won by 13 runs. MI bowled well overall to register a tricky win against SRH. Kieron Pollard was adjudged Man of the Match for his late hitting and also a bit of disciplined bowling. It was the same story, yet again for Sunrisers as they fail to register a win at the Chepauk, Chennai.

IPL 2021 MI vs SRH LIVE: Mumbai Indians Win By 13 Runs, Sunrisers Lose 3 On Trot

Background

IPL 2021: Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium will perhaps host two of the strongest teams in the Indian Premier League (at least on paper). Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians will play the Match-9 of IPL 2021. The difference between the two teams is of a victory. MI has won 1 and lost 1 of their two matches so far while SRH has lost both their matches. Both of these matches were close encounters that could have been won easily by SRH.

The IPL is still at a stage when all the teams are trying to find that one perfect playing XI. SRH is also figuring out their best playing XI. They left Kane Williamson out of the playing XI in the first two matches. In this match, it is expected that Williamson would make his way in the team. Perhaps, Jonny Bairstow or Jason Holder could be the players who could be the ones seeing the exit door from the playing XI for SRH.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, look solid as ever. They might make some changes in the bowling line-up and De Kock may play in tandem with Chris Lynn. But apart from these two, there won't be many changes in the MI side.

The toss would take place at 7 pm IST.
