Kohli has the highest 5878 runs in IPL cricket at an average of 38.16. Kohli has five hundreds against his name and also has an impressive strike rate of 130. He attained these runs in 192 runs.
Suresh Raina: The player who has been widely regarded as the best T20 batsman is currently playing for the Chennai Super Kings. He has been playing for the franchise since 2008. In the years when CSK was banned, Raina played for Gujarat Lions and had a great season captaining the team. Raina has 5368 runs against his name with an impressive strike rate of 137. He has played 192 matches across all seasons of IPL.
David Warner: The explosive Aussie batsman is the only overseas batsman in the list of Top 5 run scorers. He has 5254 runs in 142 matches. He has scored four hundreds in IPL cricket. He is currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He started paying IPL in the year 2009. He started playing with the Delhi Daredevils. He also captained SRH to their maiden IPL victory in 2016. David Warner averages 42.71 in IPL which is the highest among players in the Top 5 run-scorers’ list. Also, the strike rate of 141 makes him one of the most explosive opening batsman.
Rohit Sharma: The six-time IPL Champion (1 with Deccan Chargers and five with Mumbai Indians) will be playing his 201st IPL match on 9 April 2021. He is fourth in the list of top scorers of IPL.
