In the match against heavyweights Delhi Capitals, he took 3 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs. Earlier in the year 2017, Bumrah picked 20 wickets, which was his best performance.

In the 12th over of the innings against Delhi Capitals in tonight's match, Bumrah first dismissed Marcus Stoinis, then cleaned up Rishabh Pant. These were his 21st and 22nd wickets of this season.
