Google Doodle On KKR vs SRH IPL 2024 Final: Google Doodle on Sunday (May 26) celebrated the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 final which is scheduled to be played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
"This Doodle celebrates the final match of the 2024 Indian Premier League season, also known as IPL17 or TATA IPL 2024, taking place in Chennai. This year’s tournament has been brimming with excitement, and many are eager to see which team will be crowned champion," an official statement from Google read.

"The tournament started with ten teams from all over India split into two different groups. Every team played a total of 14 games — seven home and seven away. After the group stage, the top four teams advanced to the high-stakes Qualifier and Eliminator stages. Through perseverance and teamwork, both teams have come out on top to face off in the IPL17 finals," it added before signing off: "Good luck."
Notably, Google Doodle refers to the temporary modification of the logo displayed on Google's homepage in a bid to draw its users' attention to a significant date or an achievement.
Teams That Topped The League Stage Reach IPL 2024 Final
As far as the on-field action is concerned, KKR and SRH are the two teams that topped the league stage of the table finishing first and second respectively and it is the same two teams that have made it to the final. While KKR are the two time champions, SRH have also won the title back in 2016.
