However, the highlight of the game was Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma’s array of emotions during the game.

Mumbai Indians registered an emphatic win over Royal Challengers Bangalore after they chased down a 200-run target in just 16.3 overs in an IPL 2023 match on Tuesday. For RCB, skipper Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell scored brilliant half-centuries and powered their team to 199/6. In reply, Mumbai Indian’s star batters Suryakumar Yadav and Nehal Wadhers smashed the fifties and helped Mumbai reach the target.

However, the highlight of the game was Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma’s array of emotions during the game. The incident took place in the end overs of RCB’s innings when Dinesh Karthik was batting and he was lucky as Cameroon Green dropped his catch when he was on 14. After the dropped catch, skipper Rohit Sharma was disappointed while Anushka was elated.  Dinesh Karthik scored 18-ball-30.

Speaking about the clash, Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets on Tuesday.  Suryakumar Yadav's 35-ball 83 alongside Nehal Wadhera's unbeaten 34-ball 52 helped Mumbai beat Bangalore. Ishan Kishan also contributed with 42 runs off 21 balls while Rohit Sharma (7 off 8) started off well before both were sent to the pavilion in the same over by Wanindu Hasaranga.

Previously, Glenn Maxwell and skipper Faf du Plessis smashed half-centuries and guided Royal Challengers Bangalore to 199 for six. Unfortunately, RCB lost Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat at quick intervals before fans witnessed a massive assault from Du Plessis (65 off 41 balls) and Maxwell (68 off 33) stitched 120 runs in just 67 balls. For Mumbai,  Jason Behrendorff ended up as MI's pick of the bowlers, concluding the game with figures of 3 for 36.

Brief Scores: Royal Challengers Bangalore: 199 for 6 in 20 overs (Glenn Maxwell 68, Faf du Plessis 65; Jason Behrendorff 3/36). Mumbai Indians: 200 for 4 in 16.3 overs (Suryakumar Yadav 83, Nehal Wadhera 52 not out; Vijaykumar Vyshak 2/37).
