Captain Faf du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik are in excellent form for Bangalore.  Du Plessis fell four runs short of a century in RCB's previous match. However, the form of Virat Kohli is a matter of concern for the team. Taking a note of his poor form, ex-India head coach Ravi Shastri had advised Kohli to take a break.
