During LSG vs RCB IPL 2022 Eliminator match, Karthik notched up a fiery 23-ball 37 and stitched a solid unbeaten 92-run partnership off just 41 balls with 'centurion' Rajat Patidar for fifth wicket. Patidar, the uncapped RCB player playing his debut season, scored an unbeaten 112 off 54 balls, with help of seven sixes and 12 fours.
