New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhoni's meeting with a 'special fan' has gone viral on social media. The two-time World Cup-winning skipper has a die-hard fan base all over the world. The 40-year-old, who recently finished his IPL 2022 duties, met a specially-abled fangirl named Lavanya at Ranchi Airport. A visibly emotional Lavanya couldn't control her emotions as she was in tears when she met the cricketing icon. Lavanya even showcased a sketch of MS Dhoni to him.

The way he asked me about my name spelling, he shaked my hand & when he said “RONA NAHI” & wipe my tear it was a pure bliss for me.  He said “THANK YOU” to me for his sketch & said “MAIN LE JAUNGA” & the words he spoken to me will be remembered by me forever. ,” the fan posted on Instagram.

IPL 2022 turned out to be one of the worst ever seasons for Chennai Super Kings in their IPL history. The team could win only 4 out of 14 matches and finished ninth in the IPL 2022 points table. Chennai Super Kings also made headlines due to a lot of controversies. CSK management removed Jadeja as captain midway and handed over the captaincy to Dhoni. However, it was too late as even under Mahi's captaincy the team could only manage two wins in their last few matches.
