Still Time, Don't Want To Jump To Conclusions: Rahul Dravid On Reports Of Ravindra Jadeja Missing T20 World Cup

Team India's head coach Rahul Dravid feels World Cup is a fair way away, so he doesn't want to jump to any conclusions and rule Ravindra Jadeja out or in.

India vs Pakistan Asia Cup: Team India's head coach Rahul Dravid believes Ravindra Jadeja cannot be ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia as he does not want to jump to conclusions until an official word is out. While everyone still awaits a second official health update from BCCI regarding Jadeja's latest health update, a report in PTI on Friday stated Jadeja has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 after a knee injury.

According to a PTI report, the senior all-rounder will undergo major knee surgery and will remain away from the field for an indefinite period of time. Earlier, there were reports that the veteran was ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022 cricket tournament due to his knee injury. BCCI gave this information on Friday.

"It's part of sports. People get injured. It's part of our job to try and manage them, manage how it goes. A lot will depend on the rehab and the severity of the injury. We'll see how it goes. I don't want to rule him out or make too many comments until we have a much clearer picture and we have a better idea. Specially the World Cup is 6-7 weeks away now."
