Hardik Pandya Shares Emotional Video To Thank Those Who 'Supported Him Through Ups & Downs'

Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya took to social media to thank his fans who supported him in his ups and downs.

New Delhi: Hardik Pandya has established himself as one of the most important players on the Indian team in white-ball cricket. The star all-rounder played a key role in India's series win over England by picking four wickets and later scoring 55-ball 71 in the decider at Old Trafford.

The year 2022 has been a year of redemption for Pandya as he has gone through an emotional roller-coaster ride in the last few months. On Monday, the Gujarat Titans skipper took to social media to thank his fans who supported him in his ups and downs. The video posted by Pandya shows his journey as how he battled his injury to find his place back in the national team.

"Through the ups and downs, with my people by my side. Woke up every morning raring to go, with the will to become stronger, with the will to become fitter and play for my country. Always grateful to those who stood by me, who encouraged me, who guided me," Pandya captioned the video.

After India's series win over England, Pandya recalled his partnership with Pant that had put India in a commanding position.

"I felt really good with my performance. It's always special to contribute to all departments. My game gave me a lot of confidence in the past. Rishabh's inning was obviously very important for us. And the way he finished... we all know what kind of talent he has. And when it comes out, it looks very pleasing to the eyes. When he plays, your heartbeat goes up at the same part of the time you are in awe of the shots Rishabh plays," Pandya, who was named Player of the Series, said.
