Premier League 2023/24: Manchester City and Arsenal had a tremendous Sunday in the Premier League 2023/24 Matchday 35, as both the sides walked out with vital wins in their respective fixtures. Arsenal played the North London Derby away at Tottenham Hotspurs, where they won the match 3-2, and with that, the pressure was on Manchester City to ensure they take all the three points in their away fixture at Notttingham Forest, which they did with a hard-fought 2-0 win.

Arsenal took a 3-0 lead inside the first half and it looked like second successive humiliation from Arsenal to their London rivals, as they were coming off a historic 5-0 win over fierce rivals Chelsea. However, a howler from David Raya granted Romero an easy 1v1 goal, which sparked a hope for a comeback in Spurs.

Declan Rice made a clumsy challenge inside the box, and the penalty decision was awarded after the intervention of VAR, which was converted later by Son Heung Min. But the Gunners held their nerves and Mikel Arteta's men walked out with a 3-2 win.

Manchester City had a really rough outing at Nottingham Forest as they were made run for their money, with them being indecisive and taken off the guard at the back, but were high on luck as Chris Wood missed few open goal-tap-ins. Manchester City were visibly struggling because of the attacks made by the hosts, but escaped away with a win.
