Mumbai City FC secured their eighth win of the 2023-24 Indian Super League (ISL) after defeating Bengaluru FC by 2-0 at the Mumbai Football Arena on February 18 (Sunday). Vikram Partap Singh scored both the goals for Mumbai. He scored the first in the 42nd minute to give his side a lead before the end of first half. In the 58th minute, he netted the second of the match. This win helped Mumbai City FC to secure their fourth place in the points table.
Odisha FC continue to lead the ISL 2023-24 table with 31 points from 15 games, maintaining their top spot. Mohun Bagan have now secured the second position with 29 points from 14 matches following their recent victory. FC Goa hold the third spot with 28 points from 12 matches. Mumbai City FC have climbed to the fourth place, displacing Kerala Blasters.
Kerala Blasters, after losing a spot, now hold the fifth place with 26 points from 15 matches. Jamshedpur FC, with their latest triumph, have firmly secured the sixth spot with 17 points from 16 matches. NorthEast United FC maintain the seventh place with 16 points from 14 matches, while East Bengal FC occupy the eighth spot with 15 points from 14 matches.
Chennaiyin FC are positioned ninth with 15 points. Bengaluru FC stay at the 10th spot with 15 points from 16 matches, followed by Punjab FC in the eleventh place with 14 points from 15 matches.
