ISL 2023/24 Semi Final 1st Leg: Mumbai City have produced one of the most legendary and iconic comebacks, not just in the history of Indian football, but whole of football, as 'The Islanders' wrote a comeback victory against FC Goa in the 1st leg of the semi final of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2023/24. The hosts (FC Goa) took the lead inside 16 minutes as right winger Boris Thangjam drew the first blood, and their lead was doubled in the second half, when star midfielder Brandon Fernandes scored in the 56th minute.

However, Mumbai City FC had different plans and went on a socring spree inside theb injury time, as a brace from Lallianzuala Chhangte and a goal from Vikram Singh turned the tie in Mumbai City FC's favour and the visitors silenced a jam-packed Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao.

Now with the away leg done, Mumbai City FC will go into their home leg with a one-goal lead and avoiding a defeat will guarantee them a place in the final.
