The last match of the two-match Test series between England and New Zealand is set to be played at Edgbaston from June 10. The New Zealand cricket team have received a major blow ahead of the much-awaited World Test Championship (WTC) Final against India.
New Zealand star spinner Mitchell Santner has been ruled out of the Eng v NZ 2nd Test due to an injury, while captain Kane Williamson has also sustained an injury during the first Test against England at Lord's. New Zealand head coach Gary Stead on Tuesday said that skipper Williamson's left elbow injury is being monitored and a decision on his further participation in the England vs New Zealand Test series will be taken on Wednesday.

"Pace bowlers from Lord's won't all play 2nd Test. Trent Boult available & likely to return. Mitch Santner ruled out with his cut left index finger. Kane Williamson's left elbow injury being monitored & a decision to be made tomorrow," it tweeted.
Kane Williamson could only score 13 and 1 in both the innings of the Eng vs NZ 1st Test. Trent Bolt, who was rested for England vs New Zealand first Test, has now joined the team.
New Zealand team will leave from Edgbaston to Southampton after Eng v NZ 1st Test. Team India is currently in Southampton. After the India vs New Zealand WTC Final, a five-match Test series will be played between India and England from August 4.
