Yashasvi Jaiswal's blistering fifty powers India to the fastest Team 100 ever in the history of Men's Test cricket during the ongoing India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium.
India brought up the team’s hundred in just 10.1 overs on Day 4 of the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, marking the fastest team hundred ever in the history of Men's Test cricket. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal's lightning fifty, in just 31 balls, was the key to India's historic achievement. India went past their own record of the fastest Team hundred in Tests surpassing the record they created against West Indies in 2023 where they brought up 100 runs in just 12.2 overs at Port of Spain.
After bowling Bangladesh out for 233 in 72.2 overs, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Jaiswal came out with all guns blazing, showcasing proper intent to push the Test’s result in their favour, given that previous two days were washed off.
