World Cup 2019: Pakistani fans turn Nasser Hussain silent by supporting India against England
The citizens of our neighbouring nation, Pakistan, are in our support. And if you don’t believe this, have a look at some the Twitter reactions
Before entering into the World Cup 2019, England were considered as one of the strongest contenders of the title. However, after two consecutive losses, their chances of making it to the semi-finals are in jeopardy.
With eight points from seven games, the Eoin Morgan-led side is currently placed fourth on the points table. And now, the equation is pretty simple for them. They need to win their remaining games – against India and New Zealand – in order to enter the knockout stages.
Ahead of England's must-win clash against India, former skipper Nasser Hussain took to social media to ask Pakistani fans as to which team they would be supporting when the two teams meet on Sunday at Edgbaston.
"Question to all Pakistan fans ...England vs India...Sunday... who are you supporting?" tweeted Hussain on Thursday.

Definitely backing India 🇮🇳 for two reasons 1- they’re neighbours 2- they’re passionate about cricket

Punjab is my jaan on both sides but I will support obviously India because we are not only neighbour's but like brothers who don't talk to each other very much but still love each other

The record of England against these two teams is not good when it comes to World Cups. England have not been able to register World Cup wins against the Men in Blue and the Black Caps in the last 27 years.🇮🇳💚🇵🇰
