New Delhi: Swashbuckling Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh played a fiery knock against the Central Zone in Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Yuvraj smashed 33 runs off just 20 delivers but despite his quick cameo innings North Zone lost to Central Zone by 4 runs.

Riding on skipper Naman Ojha's 48 and Railways batsman Manish Rawat's unbeaten half century (57 off 40 balls), Central Zone made 167/7 after being sent in to bat

In the 18th over of the second innings, Yuvraj smashed 3 consecutive sixes to Aniket Choudhary, getting the North Zone an inch closer to victory but failed to finish off the game as Choudhary dismissed the hard hitting Indian in the same over.

The North Zone needed 21 runs in the last over but could only manage 16 runs.
