The team would be hoping to bounce back after a rare month-long break after they lost to Australia in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final last month. This will also mark India's onset of the 2023-25 cycle of the WTC.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to the social media to share a video of the Indian Players coming up, shaking hands and having a conversation with the legendary cricketer.
