WATCH: Umar Akmal again breaks traffic laws, pays the price
New Delhi: Pakistan cricketer Umar Akmal has landed himself in another controversy. The wicket-keeper batsman was reportedly involved in heated arguement with excise police officers.
The26-year-old was stopped in his hometown Lahore by the officers of Excise, Taxationas and Narcotics department. Umar was bearing a car with personalized number plate which is deemed as illegal by the officials.

This is not the first time; Umar Akmal has been involved in similar cases in the past. He was jailed in 2014 after a fight with traffic warden who stopped him for breaking traffic signal.
The Lahore Qalandar star was also accused of fighting a gate- keeper at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore who refused entry to his car.
Umar Akmal has represented Pakistan in 116 ODI’s, 82 T20’s and 16 Test matches
