Even though Sarfaraz could not do much with the bat himself, getting out 9 runs off 35 balls, he was elated for his younger brother Musheer who scored a splendid hundred and pretty much single-handedly helped the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led side out of a hole.
The team lookd down and out at one stage with India B reeling at 90/7. However, Musheer did not lose hope and scored a hundred to take his team past the 200-run mark in the first innings. Musheer-Saini See Through India B To End Of Day 1
While Musheer did a commendable job scoring a hundred, Navdeep Saini also deserved a special mention for putting on a fight. Saini did not give his wicket away either and 29 off 74 balls to ensure India B end the day at 202/7. While Musheer's unbeaten knock of 105 has seen him hit 10 fours and 2 sixes, even Saini has scored 4 fours and a six already and will come back to resume the 108-run partnership.
Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan and Akash Deep have been the pick of the bowlers for India A, scalping two wickets apiece. Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav and Tanush Kotian were the other three bowlers used by captain Shubman Gill but could not produce a wicket.
