WATCH: Jadeja does a Dhoni with no-look run out in Ranchi Test

New Delhi: An Indian player collects the ball, throws it back towards the stumps without looking at them and the batsman finds himself short of his ground – sounds more like a clichéd script. But there is a catch; the protagonist did not have gloves in his hand. 

Ravindra Jadeja fulfilled Anil Kumble’s wish of seeing Dhoni in Ranchi. Well, almost. After sneering out another five-wicket haul – his eighth of the home season, Jadeja pulled off an MS Dhoni special to bring the curtain down on the Australian innings.

It seemed befitting that Jadeja chose Ranchi to pull off the Dhoni special run out, as apart from that the Australian batsman provided very little chance for the crowd to test their vocal cords.
