WATCH: Fakar Zaman's blunder helps Rohit Sharma survive a near 'run-out'

Pakistan missed a big breakthrough. A throw at the wrong end by Fakhar Zaman gave India a breather. KL Rahul wanted to steal a quick single but Rohit charged back for another run, Fakhar threw the ball to bowlers end and Rahul, who was close to the crease, returned back in time.  

After being put to bat first, India openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave India a flying start to bring up their 100 runs partnership in 18 overs. It is the first 100-run opening stand for India against Pakistan in a World Cup. Meanwhile, Pakistan missed a big breakthrough. A throw at the wrong end by Fakhar Zaman gave India a breather.
