Mumbai: 24^th April, 2021 is the 48^th birthday of India’s batting legend, Sachin Tendulkar. Every year, on this day, Indian fans celebrate the great man’s birthday. Even amid Covid-19, Sachin Tendulkar fans have been wishing him on Twitter and other social media platforms. Meanwhile, Sachin has shared a special video message on his birthday. Since the past few years, Sachin has been celebrating his birthday with the Mumbai Indians squad due his birthday coinciding with the Indian Premier League.

In the video, Sachin said that he is thankful to all the doctors and medical staff who helped him recover from Covid-19. Sachin informed that he spent 21 days in quarantine while recovering from Covid-19. He said, “All your birthday wishes have made my day. Last few days have been tough for me, I had to be isolated for 21 days.

“All the doctors and the medical staff kept me in a positive frame of mind and helped me recover. A big thank you to all of you.”

While talking about the current situation of Covid-19 in the country, he said “I want to give you all a message which is passed on by the doctors. If plasma is given at the right time, patients can recover faster. I am also going to donate my plasma whenever permissible.

“You all talk to your doctors and those who have recovered from Covid-19, do donate your blood.”

Thus, Sachin made an emotional appeal on his birthday.
