A massive fire erupted at Hypercity Mall in Thane, Mumbai. The Kasarvadavli police and fire department are on-site, assisted by a high-rise fire rescue vehicle.

A Massive Fire has broken out at Hypercity Mall on Ghodbunder Road in Thane outside Mumbai. The Kasarvadavli police and fire department personnel are at the spot. A high-rise fire rescue vehicle from the fire brigade has also been brought to assist in the rescue ops.

The blaze was reported at around 8 AM, according to the Maharashtra Disaster Management Cell. The fire started on the second floor of the mall that houses the Decathlon store.
Emergency responders, including local police and Disaster Management Cell staff, swiftly arrived at the scene with the necessary equipment. Firefighters and emergency teams are actively working to control and extinguish the fire.
Authorities have yet to provide further details on any casualties, property damage, or the fire's cause.
The fire was doused around 9:15 am.
Bombay Duck Hotel Fire
Earlier this month, a large fire broke out at the Bombay Duck Hotel near Upvan Lake in Thane, Maharashtra, on Monday morning, according to civic officials. Fortunately, no human injuries were reported.
The fire then, too, broke out early morning, getting sparked around 6:15 AM on January 13. Local firefighting crews, along with the disaster management team, quickly responded to the fire. The blaze was brought under control within an hour and fully extinguished by 7:45 AM. However, a cat inside the hotel died due to asphyxiation from the smoke, officials said, with the carcass later found on the premises.
Balkum Building Fire In Thane
A fire broke out on the second floor of a building in Thane on January 5. No injuries were reported in the incident. The incident occurred on January 5 at approximately 10:27 PM in a building located opposite Chhabaiyya Park, Balkum, Thane West. The Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) was alerted promptly, leading to a swift response from local authorities.
Upon reaching the scene, the Disaster Management Officer, Chief Fire Officer, and Fire Brigade personnel were present, with additional support from the Disaster Management Cell team. Four fire engines and one water tanker were deployed to control and extinguish the flames.
