The Nottinghamshire set a mammoth total of 441 runs while batting against Essex at the County Championship Division One.

Credit goes to wicketkeeper batsman Tom Moores who not only smashed 87 runs off just 80 balls, but helped his team posting a competitive total despite being injured. Assisted with a runner, the 21-year-old cricketer turned out to be the highest run-scorer for Nottinghamshire during the second innings.

Moores hit a total of 7 sixes and 7 fours during his stint at the crease. Batting at a strike rate over hundred, the Nottinghamshire wicketkeeper kept on haunting the Essex bowler.

Especially, in the 70th over which was bowled by Simon Harmer. Moores smashed 3 sixes and 2 boundaries, scoring a total of 27 runs off six deliveries.
