MI skipper Rohit Sharma made sure to express his displeasure. After being declared out, Sharma had an exchange with the umpire and knocked down the bowlers’ end bails too

Mumbai Indians skipper lost his cool during the KKR vs MI match, after which he was fined 15 per cent of his match fee after a breach of the Code of Conduct. KKR batted brilliantly to give Mumbai a massive score of 233 to chase, MI skipper looked good as he hit three boundaries early on before he was foxed by a stunner from Harry Gurney. The on-field umpire gave Sharma out but the Mumbai skipper decided to go for the review. However, the decision did not go in Rohit’s way and clearly the skipper was unhappy with the umpire as it was the umpire’s call which turned out to be the deciding factor. The star opener made sure to express his displeasure. While returning to the dugout, Sharma had an exchange with the umpire and knocked down the bowlers’ end bails too. After the unpleasant incident, Rohit Sharma was charged under Level 1 of 2.2 of the IPL's Code of Conduct. At 58 for four, Mumbai were down and out but Hardik Pandya reignited their hopes with a breathtaking 91 off 34 balls. In the end, Pandya's dismissal in the 18th over sealed the game in KKR's favour as Mumbai ended at 198 for seven. Moreover, Kolkata posted the season's highest total, 232 for two, after sensational knocks from Shubman Gill (75 off 45) and Andre Russell (80 not out off 40).
