The 20-year-old fell on turf and soon was rushed to the hospital where he underwent scans after spending one night at the medical facility. The scan has identified no internal bleeding and bone damage which comes in as good news for the young wicket-keeper.
This is not the first time that such incident took place in Australian cricket, Melbourne Renegrades Wicket-keeper Phill Neville suffered similar blow after Brad Hodge’s bat swung from his hand to hit wicket-keeper’s head in the Big Bash League.
