Uncapped Players Who Might Be Selected For India's Squad In T20 World Cup 2024

Let's have a look at some uncapped Indian players who might be picked by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors in India's squad for T20 World Cup 2024 tournament.

Some of the most prominent names in international cricket are taking place in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The ongoing T20 tournament is providing players with a platform to refine their skills and prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in June.

A little over six months from today, T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies and USA begins from June 2nd onwards. Let's have a look at some uncapped Indian players who might be picked by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors in India's squad for T20 World Cup 2024 tournament.

Abhishek Sharma (Sunrisers Hyderabad) has been scoring runs at an aggressive run rate. The left-hander has 177 runs in 5 innings with a strike rate of 208.24 from 5 matches.

Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Akash Madhwal has picked 14 wickets in eight matches with a bowling average of 15.64, strike rate of 10.93, including a five-wicket haul. Given Madhwal's ability to bowl toe-crushing yorkers at the death, getting breakthroughs in middle overs makes him a great asset to have in T20Is.

Mayank Yadav, the right-arm pacer for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), has been making waves with his impressive performance in IPL 2024. He has been consistently bowling at speeds of around 140 kmph while maintaining superb precision in both line and length. Yadav's exceptional pace and accuracy has caught the attention of fans, cricket pundits and the selectors ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

The Indian cricket team begins its campaign in T20 World Cup 2024 on June 5 with a match against Ireland in New York . Rohit Sharma-led team will then square off against arch-nemesis Pakistan on 9th June at the same venue.

India's full schedule at T20 World Cup 2024: India vs Ireland on June 5, New York | India vs Pakistan on June 9, New York | India vs USA on June 12, New York | India vs Canada on June 15, Florida.
