T20 World Cup: Inzamam Ul Haq Says 'Things Are In India's Favour' Ahead Of IND Vs PAK Clash

"India is the most lethal T20 team in Subcontinent conditions," Inzamam said on his YouTube channel.

ICC T20 World Cup: Former Pakistan captain Inzamam Ul Haq believes that "things are in India's favour" going into India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match. He also said that India has the "most lethal" team in the entire tournament.

He feels that India has a balanced side and by the virtue of playing IPL in UAE, they have an upper hand over all the teams.

The Indo-Pak rivalry in cricket has become so much more than just the sport. In many ways, it has transcended the Ashes rivalry between Australia and England. Inzamam ul Haq also reiterated this by saying, "The India-Pakistan match is a final before the Final. The hype is immense!"

"India is the most lethal T20 team in Subcontinent conditions," Inzamam said on his YouTube channel.

"India's team has the best chances, especially in these conditions. They have the best T20 players on their team. Even today they (India) chased 150+ easily, without Kohli against a team like Australia."

"Virat Kohli might only focus on his batting which is a good decision, as this is his last World Cup [as captain] and he will try to end it on a positive note," Inzamam said.

Speaking on upcoming India vs Pakistan game, he said, "The team that wins this match will have huge morale going in the tournament."

He feels that the match on Sunday will be a cracker-jack of a contest. "It will be a good match as even Pakistan has a good team," he said.

Inzamam Ul Haq feels that even though India has an upper hand "it is difficult to predict a winner in ICC tournaments as any team can stage an upset in T20 cricket."

If Pakistan is able to defeat India on 24 October, it will be the first time that a Pakistani team has defeated India in World Cup cricket.
