Suryakumar Yadav-Led Indian Team Lands In Trivandrum Ahead Of Second T20I vs AUS. WATCH

As per the Kerala Cricket Association, both teams will do their practice at the match venue, Sports Hub in Karyavattom, on Saturday.

After an exhilarating first T20I game in Visakhapatnam, the Indian and Australian teams have reached Thiruvananthapuram to take part in the second T20I game of the five-match series, slated to be played at Greenfield Stadium on November 26. As per the Kerala Cricket Association, both teams will do their practice at the match venue, Sports Hub in Karyavattom, on Saturday.

India’s newly made skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who was the star with the bat as he played a fiery knock of 80 runs in India’s victory over Australia, was seen checking in with his colleagues on Friday evening. On the other hand, the Matthew Wade-led Australian team has also arrived in Kerala's capital city.

Earlier, in the first game, Australia’s batter Josh Inglis smashed the joint-fastest century in T20 Internationals before India's skipper Suryakumar Yadav came up with his heroics with the bat to help his team seal a two-wicket win. After being asked to bat first, Australia collected a massive total with Inglis hitting 11 fours and eight sixes in his 110 off 50 balls.

This is the very first time that Suryakumar Yadav is leading the Indian side and the Mumbai-based batter started his campaign by smashing 80 runs, helping the hosts chase down a total of 208 easily. Apart from Surya, it was Ishan Kishan who made 58 runs and the duo added a stand of 112 runs before getting departed. It was Rinku Singh who came up with a finishing touch,  guiding his team over the line.

"Credit goes to (Suryakumar) for the way he played. He was taking on the bowlers," Kishan said. "The communication was very good. I'm really happy because it's a young side. We'll make mistakes, but hopefully we'll come back stronger as a bowling unit."
